Digital Communications Services
My Digital Communications Services are focused on helping you develop and deliver online communications strategies that work hand-in-hand with your organisational goals.
No two companies are the same, and every situation has its own unique set of circumstances. So instead of selling a rigid set of packages, I work with you to understand your specific needs and design a support programme to help to get to where you want to be. That could involve:
How I work
I tend to work on a retainer basis, which begins with an initial commitment then moves to a monthly rolling contract (see below).
- I usually start with a review of your current setup and performance. This gives us both a clear, honest picture of where your business stands – what’s working, what’s holding it back, and where the real opportunities are. It’s the foundation for everything that follows. Without it, any digital comms work is essentially guesswork.
- Based on the review, we agree on a focus for the first few months. That might be fixing technical issues on your website, getting your content strategy right, building your authority in a particular area, or developing your social media approach. The plan is shaped by your business objectives, your competitive landscape, and what’s realistic given your resources.
- From there, work continues on a rolling basis (if you choose), focusing on the highest-priority tasks, whether that’s research, content, optimisation, or authority building, with regular reporting built in.
You’re not locked into a long commitment, but the work compounds over time, which is where the real results come from.
How the retainer works
Most clients come on board for an initial three-month period. This gives us enough time to complete the a solid review, agree a plan, and start putting it into practice. Three months is also long enough to begin seeing how the work is taking shape, even if the full results take longer to come through.
After that, the engagement moves to a rolling monthly contract. There’s no fixed term and no pressure to commit to anything beyond the coming month. If your priorities change or you decide to pause, all you need is one month’s notice.
The flexibility is intentional. Building an online presence works best when it’s consistent, but it should also fit around your business, not the other way around.
Is this right for you?
This approach works best for businesses that are committed to building their online presence over time and want a clear, consistent strategy rather than a series of disconnected projects.
It’s particularly well suited to you if:
- Your website isn’t generating the enquiries or traffic you’d expect
- You’ve tried online marketing before but never felt clear on what you were getting or why
- You want someone who can take ownership of your online channels without you having to manage every detail
- You’re ready to invest consistently, but want flexibility and transparency in how that investment is used
If you’re not sure whether now is the right time, or what level of commitment makes sense for your situation, the best starting point is a conversation.
